Engine Performances

Can Your Car Shop Make Your Engine Perform Better?

When you talk to the average car shop about engine performance, they assume you mean that your car's engine isn't running as well as it did when it left the factory. While this is an accurate assumption when dealing with the average vehicle, it isn't one when the owner is looking to exceed factory specifications. Then, it's important to choose a shop that is not only capable of upgrading an engine but does the work often enough to be skilled at it.

One of the best ways to find such a shop is to look for one that advertises something along the lines of "high-performance services," that it works on race cars and racing motorcycles, or that otherwise lets you know that their idea of "performance" goes beyond mere normal operation.

It's important to keep in mind that engine performance, while important, isn't the only aspect of upgrading a car from the stock form to a racing-optimized variant. Transmission upgrades, fuel system upgrades, nitrous kits, and turbo kits are just a few of the other things we do to increase performance here at Lawson's Automotive & Motorcycle Repair/Performance. These upgrade services are not the same as our repair services, which are mostly used by people who simply want their cars to work normally.

Of course, once your car is upgraded, you'll want to come back to us if you need to have any repairs done. We'll know that you are looking to restore high-performance results, not just regular operation, and do the work accordingly.
